A dental education project
Something is being built here.
Dentist University is in development. Until there is something worth showing, this page does the one useful thing it can: point people at the institutions and resources that already do this properly.
This is not an accredited institution, is not enrolling students, and does not award degrees or credentials. Everything below links to organisations that do.

Accreditation, admissions and licensure
The bodies that decide what counts. Start here before trusting any ranking, including this page’s.
- Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)The accrediting body. If a programme is not on CODA’s list, it does not lead to US licensure.
- American Dental Education Association (ADEA)Runs AADSAS, the centralised application service used by nearly every US dental school.
- Joint Commission on National Dental ExaminationsAdministers the INBDE, the written examination required for licensure.
- American Dental AssociationThe profession’s principal body, and the parent organisation of CODA.
